Account and Data Deletion
You can delete your Tamirhane.ai account and the personal data linked to it at any time. Use either of the two methods below.
1. Delete from within the app
- Open the Tamirhane.ai app and sign in to your account.
- Customer account: Settings → Legal → Delete Membership
- Mechanic / business account: Settings → Delete Membership
- Tap "Delete Membership" on the confirmation screen.
Once confirmed, your account is closed, your session is ended, and your identity data (full name, phone number, profile photo) is erased and anonymised.
2. Request full deletion by e-mail
If you also want every record linked to your account — vehicles, appointments and order history — permanently erased, write to us from your registered e-mail address. Simply state your registered phone number or e-mail address in the request.
Send deletion requestData that is deleted
- First name, last name and profile photo
- Phone number and e-mail address
- Saved addresses
- Vehicle records (plate, make/model, VIN, mileage)
- Appointment, service and order history
- For mechanic accounts: KYC documents, certificate and equipment images, IBAN details
- In-app messages and support tickets
- Push notification (device) records
Data we retain and statutory periods
- Invoice and payment records: retained for 5 years under the Turkish Tax Procedure Law and 10 years under Article 82 of the Turkish Commercial Code.
- Where a legal dispute or statutory claim exists, the related records are retained until the process concludes.
- Anonymised statistical data that cannot be linked back to you may continue to be stored.
Timeframe
Deletion performed inside the app takes effect immediately. Full deletion requests sent by e-mail are completed within 30 days at the latest, and the outcome is communicated to you.
Account deletion cannot be undone. You will not be able to sign in with a deleted account, and any active appointments or orders will be cancelled.
